Set down in the middle of the largest medical complex in the world, this market is built around a shift, not a leisurely Sunday. It runs on a weekday — most recently landing on Tuesdays — timed for the narrow windows nurses, doctors, and TMC staff actually get between rounds. Because hospital schedules shift more than most, we’d rather send you to the live calendar for this week’s exact day and hours than print a promise here we can’t keep.

What to expect. A tighter, faster market than our Sunday flagship — built for grab-and-go. Fresh produce you can carry back to a break room, prepared foods that travel, and vendors who know their customers are watching the clock.

Who it’s for. TMC staff on a short break, campus neighbors, and anyone in the Medical Center who wants real food that doesn’t require leaving the complex. Check the live calendar before you head over — the day moves with the hospital’s own schedule.

We’re a Houston Chronicle “Best of the Best” finalist — which apparently extends to setting up shop in the middle of a hospital campus for people who don’t have time to go looking for good food.

Kenz Henz Eggs

Our eggs are all pasture raised. The hens have full access to the outdoors. Their diet is primarily comprised of plants and bugs they find while grazing. This is what gives our eggs a darker, tastier yolk. No hormones or antibiotics. Pasture-raised hens also produce healthier eggs, according to a 2003 study out of Pennsylvania State University. In it, researchers found that one pasture-raised egg contains twice as much omega-3 fat, three times more vitamin D, four times more vitamin E and seven times more beta-carotene than eggs from hens raised on traditional feed.”
