Every Sunday from 11am to 3pm, La Centerra at Cinco Ranch turns into Katy’s front porch. This is our flagship market — the one that doesn’t move, doesn’t skip weeks, and has been the reason a lot of Cinco Ranch families started planning their Sundays around a farmers market instead of a grocery run. Bring a tote bag, bring the kids, bring the dog if the leash is handy. You’ll probably stay longer than you planned.

What to expect. Local produce, small-batch foods, and the outdoor-lifestyle-center energy of La Centerra — string lights, patio seating nearby, room to wander between booths without feeling rushed. Vendors rotate with the season, so what’s on the table in June won’t be what’s there in November.

Who it’s for. Cinco Ranch and Katy neighbors who want a Sunday habit, not a special occasion. It’s the market to bring first-timers to, because it’s the one running every single week — no need to check a calendar first.

Braeswood Farmers Market was named a Houston Chronicle “Best of the Best” finalist — and La Centerra is the market most of that reputation was built on.

Kenz Henz Eggs

Our eggs are all pasture raised. The hens have full access to the outdoors. Their diet is primarily comprised of plants and bugs they find while grazing. This is what gives our eggs a darker, tastier yolk. No hormones or antibiotics. Pasture-raised hens also produce healthier eggs, according to a 2003 study out of Pennsylvania State University. In it, researchers found that one pasture-raised egg contains twice as much omega-3 fat, three times more vitamin D, four times more vitamin E and seven times more beta-carotene than eggs from hens raised on traditional feed.”
